Kevin Scott Kimbell

Kevin Scott Kimbell, 57, of South Sioux City passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at his residence.

Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at First Presbyterian Church in South Sioux City with Reverend Beth Hamilton officiating.  Visitation with the family present will be Tuesday, September 14, 2021 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Mohr & Becker-Hunt Funeral Home.  Burial will be at Wakefield City Cemetery.  Online condolences may be given www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Kevin was born October 26, 1963 in Wakefield, NE, the son of Merlyn and Iona (Stricklett) Kimbell.  He graduated from South Sioux City High School and attended WITCC in Sioux City.  Kevin worked for many years in computer sales at the Computer Supple Warehouse.  He loved electronics, computers, cheering on the Nebraska Huskers, and his beloved cat Titan.  Kevin was a very kind, non-judgmental, and loving son and dad and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Kevin is survived by his children:  Katia Kimbell of Sioux City, Kierson Kimbell of Sioux City, Conner Kimbell of Des Moines, IA, and Quinn Kimbell of Sioux City, currently attending school in Lincoln, NE; grandchildren:  Julian Kimbell (9), Janeya Kimbell (8), and Oliver Horton (8); parents Merlyn and Iona Kimbell of South Sioux City, NE; sister Kimberly and her husband Edward Clark of Parker, CO; brother Joe Kimbell of South Sioux City; nephews:  Andrew, Alex, and Harrison; niece:  Rubianne; great nephews:  Nial and Calen; and cousins Julie Stinger and Dave Swanson.

Kevin was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
